Dr. Sakander Hayat joins UBD

It is a pleasure to announce that Dr. Sakander Hayat has joined the Mathematical Sciences programme in the Faculty of Science, UBD as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics. He was previously an Assistant Professor at GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Pakistan.

Dr. Sakander’s research interests lie in algebraic combinatorics, applied combinatorics, mathematical chemistry, discrete mathematics, discrete applied mathematics. He obtained his first degree in 2012 from the Govt. College University Faisalabad. He then obtained an MPhil from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan in 2014. His PhD was completed in 2018 from University of Science and Technology of China, P.R. China. Dr. Sakander has won numerous awards for his scholarship.

Dr. Sakander will be teaching SM-4322 Functional Analysis and SM-4327 Real Analysis this coming semester.
